What support is available for students?

The Disabled Students’ Allowance (DSA) provides support to cover any study-related costs you have due to your mental health condition or disability.

2024 to 2025 academic year

Undergraduate and postgraduate students can get up to £26,948 a year for support.

2025 to 2026 academic year

Undergraduate and postgraduate students can get up to £27,783 a year for support.

Such as a computer or ergonomic equipment to assist with studies.

Non-medical helpers

Such as a British Sign Language (BSL) interpreter, specialist mentor, or specialist tutor.
